Join us for a hands-on evening where we’ll turn our basil harvest into fresh pesto and explore just how flexible pesto can be.

We’ll make pesto together while talking about the many ways you can make it your own from different varieties of basil and herbs to alternative nuts, cheeses, and other ingredients. You’ll leave understanding the basic formula behind pesto so you can create it with what you have growing in your garden and what you enjoy eating.

And if you didn’t grow basil with us this year, that’s completely okay. Everyone is welcome.

A portion of every ticket will be donated to Reach Unlimited, a local Cypress organization that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through opportunities to live, learn, work, build skills, and participate more fully in their community.

So this evening isn’t only about turning something we grew into food it’s also a small way for what we grow together to give back to the community around us.
